Rough Cut

Here is the rough cut for our trailer. You can see the variety of shots we have included however, some scenes have come out very dark and so we have decided to re-film some of the shots to make them clearer for the audience as we felt we weren't getting the horror feel from the scenes. Some shots were also blurry and out of focus meaning that we will have to shoot them again so that we can effectively play with the audience's expectations. We also lack a lot of natural sound and versatility in our shots so after getting some feedback from peers and teachers, they suggested we should include more screams and natural sound such as dialogue. We have included some 'iconic' images that are usually used in the sub-genre of exorcism/paranormal. We have deliberately chosen to locate our whole trailer inside a house that has been made to look very old to follow our narrative and make it more believable. We have also decided to make it 'based on a true story' because by looking back at our audience research, we saw that people liked films that were based on true events as they find it is easy to relate to.

Evidence of Filming

Here is a Prezi outlining our filming process and what we learnt by the end of it. The short video also shows some test shots and videos we took for the beginning of our trailer.

Model Consent Forms

Here are the models (with their consent forms) that participated in the filming for our horror trailer. Due to the unavailability of our main character (the monstrous feminine), I had to occupy the role as a last resort.
